Managing Director & Owner
As the Managing Director and Owner of GLEG, my role is to oversee the business's overall success and growth, ensure we recruit top talent, and cultivate a culture where employees can thrive and develop.
Out of work I am often ‘Dad’s taxi’ for my two daughters (Georgia Louise & Elizabeth Grace) to their dancing and swimming lessons!
In my free time I enjoy running and cycling, hiking in the Lake District and travelling to diverse countries to learn about different cultures and people.

Account Executive
My role is to provide day to day administrative and operational support to colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
I also support the sales team by handling onboarding, preparing reports and ensuring the service delivery schedule is actioned on time.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, travelling when possible and going on days out to new places!


Vicki Ramsdale
Major Account Manager
As Account Manager at GLEG I am responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the accounts, managing relationships with customers and ensuring efficient completion of deliverables. In my spare time, I enjoy most sports either watching or playing and I have two kids who keep me very busy. I am originally from the Lake District and love going back to visit when possible.


Ruby Chapman
Business Support Administrator
I work as a Business Support Administrator, where I handle a variety of responsibilities, including updating client invoices and ensuring the accuracy of our internal data. I also assist with any queries from clients or team members whenever needed.
Outside of work, I enjoy visiting the Lake District, going to the gym, and spending most of my time cooking and baking.

I am GLEG’s Finance Director and oversee the finance side of the business. I am both a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser.
Away from work I enjoy watching football, I have been a season ticket holder at Blackpool FC for over 25 years! I also enjoy walking in the Lake District and spending time baking.

Energy & Carbon Analyst
My role as Energy & Carbon Analyst involves looking at energy consumptions and costs from past to present to create a picture of the potential future.
Outside of work I spend time with my wonderful little family, reading and watching mostly sci-fi/fantasy and gaming when everyone has gone to bed.

Energy Trader
As Energy Trader, I monitor volatile wholesale energy markets, analyse key price drivers, and execute hedging strategies to protect and optimise client budgets in line with their risk tolerances and commercial objectives. Outside of work, I train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and enjoy solving complex puzzles like advanced logic problems. I also keep up to date with industry news via insightful podcasts alongside researching the latest articles on energy fundamentals, renewables, geopolitics and developments in AI.


Karl Porter
Business Development Executive
I work as a Business Development Executive, where I focus on building strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and helping drive growth for the business. Outside of work, I love performing stand-up comedy. I’m also a big football fan and rarely miss a match — especially when Liverpool are playing. Supporting Liverpool is something I’m really passionate about, and I love following the team throughout the season.
