"I’m Chris Haines, Owner and Managing Director of GLEG.

I started GLEG because I wanted to build something different — a business that genuinely cares about the impact it makes. After years in the energy sector, I saw the need for a consultancy that wasn’t just about ticking boxes or chasing the next contract, but about doing things properly, with integrity and purpose.

The name GLEG comes from my daughters — Georgia Louise and Elizabeth Grace — and while the business isn’t all about them, they’re a daily reminder of why the work we do matters. It’s about the future we’re creating, not just for our clients, but for the world we all share.

We help organisations make smarter energy choices — lowering costs, reducing emissions, and building long-term resilience. But underneath all that, we’re here to help people feel confident they’re doing the right thing.
